NBA All-Star Kidsfest

Former NBA Players like Jerome Williams went down to Charlottetown to teach some of the kids some basketball skill. According to cbcNews.ca the kids had lots of fun meeting NBA players and playing basketball with them.
“Some of the kids today were like, ‘Are you a basketball player, did you play in the NBA?’ And when I say, ‘Yes,’ it’s like their whole life just lights up. They’re like, ‘really?'” said Williams. “So that’s the importance of coming out to places like this. They might not ever meet an NBA player ever so I have to make sure that they get the experience of a lifetime,” he said. “I’m sure there are kids out here that haven’t been exposed to a whole lot of basketball so far, so if they leave this asking for my organization’s contacts in their area and become a part of our group, it will only be beneficial for everybody.”
