Larry Berger

Larry Berger has spent the past two decades as a senior producer and writer; 16 of those years with NBA Entertainment. During his tenure with the league, Berger launched, produced and wrote numerous series, both live and post produced, as well as popular features seen both domestically and in 210 countries. He’s interviewed three U.S. presidents, as well as basketball legends ranging from Wilt Chamberlain to Michael Jordan to LeBron James. Additionally, Berger has worked extensively with future, current and recently retired NBA players, providing mentoring on the proper ways to excel as broadcast hosts and analysts. Berger has also provided media training sessions to hundreds of athletes, including NBA D–‐League players–teaching the best ways to develop and grow their personal brands through proper interviewing techniques. Currently, Berger is the lead NBA producer with USA Today and HoopsHype, where he has grown on–‐line viewership significantly and instructed beat writers on how to excel in front of the camera.
